Intermediate Class: ASL 2B

Continuing to build vocabulary, more focus on sign production and sign reception through group and teacher interactions. Grammar such as non-manual markers, verb inflection, use of space. Classifiers are introduced. Receptively will focus on storytelling and expressively practice retelling these stories as well as short stories, story comprehension and elements of storytelling. 

Class is recommended for age 14 and up. Under 14 may be considered if taking class WITH a parent or adult family member.

RECOMMENDED FOR: Students who have completed ASL 2A or have more exposure to ASL in which they can begin to engage in more complex conversation in ASL and are approaching intermediate comprehension and expressive ASL skills.

$95 – one 90-minute class per week, for a total of 10 weeks.
