Continuing to build vocabulary, more focus on sign production and sign reception through group and teacher interactions. Grammar such as non-manual markers, verb inflection, use of space. Classifiers are introduced. Receptively will focus on storytelling and expressively practice retelling these stories as well as short stories, story comprehension and elements of storytelling. This course is primarily designed using Signing Naturally Curriculum Unit 6. Recommended for students who have completed ASL 1B or have more exposure to ASL in which they can hold a basic conversation in ASL and have fair comprehension and expressive ASL skills.

Class is recommended for age 14 and up. Under 14 may be considered if taking class WITH a parent or adult family member.
