Beginner Class: ASL 1B

Continuing to develop conversation skills, increase vocabulary and learning cultural norms. More finger spelling practice, numbers and different kinds of numbers, listing and role shifting. Discuss living situations, families, life events, and families. Introducing role shifting and other grammatical features of ASL.

Class is recommended for age 14 and up. Under 14 may be considered if taking class WITH a parent or adult family member.

RECOMMENDED FOR: Students who have completed ASL 1A, or students who have had some exposure to ASL, ie: familiar with fingerspelling, can introduce themselves and have short basic conversations in ASL.

$95 – one 90-minute class per week, for a total of 8 weeks.
